About Me

Kate McCollum earned her real estate sales license in 1985 and her independent Brokers license in 1992.  Kate specializes in listing & sales of private homes and lender-owned (REO) properties.  She has also listed & sold commercial real estate.
Kate holds a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado in Boulder where she majored in Architecture and City Planning.

Kate offers a choice of commission rates, vacant property services and staging services to her Seller clients.  Buyers who hire Kate as their Buyer's Agent benefit from a variety of services including daily emails of preferred properties which match the buyer's needs.

No home is too small or too large for Kate's services.  Her hands-on attention to detail and presentation of a property reflect her architectural background and her eye for precision.

Kate's experience prior to real estate was in banking and the floral industry. She has purchased and renovated  homes, a motorhome, and a 40ft sailboat.  She has managed resorts and apartment complexes.  Kate earned a Yacht Captains License while living aboard her 40ft sloop which she and her husband sailed in South Florida, the Keys and the Bahama Islands.

When Kate isn't selling real estate, she enjoys time with family, travel, and vacationing near the water.

Kate earned Executive Club and 100% Club Awards from RE/MAX International for her success in helping buyers and sellers, including corporate clients, achieve their goals.  She continues to attend educational courses related to the real estate industry, evidenced by her designations below.
